For the last three years on the day after Christmas, my husband and I have met this family at a local park for a natural-light family photography session. We take a small trek to the chosen spot; immediately, the three littles spread out to explore! I record their grins as they dart about and analyze various rocks and plant life.
This is the part where a parent grabs a kid so I can capture some laughs and cuddles.
This little cutie liked to march right up to my lens and make this face.
Speaking of making faces…
Getting the full family in a single frame is a always a challenge. I find that this particular setup tends to work well (rather than try to have everyone sit and look at me!).
My supportive husband attended the session so that I could pull the parents away for this mini “lovebirds” photography session as he kept the kids corralled (Thanks, Matt!).
I eagerly anticipate photographing this beautiful family next December again!
