On a bright and sunny June evening, Kaela and I met at Treehouse Vineyards for an evening out. I had been looking forward all week to catching up with Kaela over glasses of delicious locally-made wine!
Of course, when a photographer and model get together for a girls night out, the evening would not be complete without a photoshoot! Kaela came camera-ready in a glamorous coral jumpsuit she thrifted.

Treehouse Vineyards is a family-owned winery in Monroe, NC. The venue offers all sorts of community events and rentable treehouses that overlook the lush vineyards!

We were granted a beautiful golden hour! Though the summer days in the Carolinas are long and stifling, the evenings are full of warm, flattering light as the sun sets.

As golden hour faded into blue hour, the string lights on the covered deck glowed brightly. I love the background effect the string lights create!

A blossoming crepe myrtle tree provided the perfect setting for a few of my signature floral portraits!
When blue hour was over, we spread out a picnic blanket and enjoyed delicious glasses of sweet wine as the sun sank below the horizon across the vineyards. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect Friday evening than that!
