Kate Spade-Inspired Styled Shoot // Uptown Chic

Early on a Sunday morning in July, I got together with model Kaela and two other photographers for this Kate Spade-inspired styled shoot,
“Uptown Chic.”

A styled shoot is a collective effort by a team of creatives to create a conceptual photoshoot -in this case, a Kate Spade-inspired session. Styled shoots are a fantastic way to connect with industry professionals and create beautiful, valuable marketing material for every brand involved!

We worked together in several choice locations along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway near uptown Charlotte, NC. The soft morning light paired with the blossoming crepe myrtle trees in Pearl Street Park provided the most ethereal setting I could hope for!

I’ve always loved everything by designer brand Kate Spade. The combinations of bright colors, clean lines, and minimal hardware are exactly my taste!

The necklace and stacked ring set was created especially for this styled shoot. Rachael of Simply Chic Jewelry hand-makes for each piece, welding and hand-pouring resin for every item in her Bold collection!

Little Sugar Creek Greenway near uptown Charlotte, NC is a fabulous location for a photoshoot. There are so many great backdrops to choose from within a few minutes of one another!

This concrete wall is one of my favorite spots along the Litte Sugar Creek Greenway. The gray paint spot provides a little interest to the textured wall and is a perfect backdrop for portraits and headshots!
