anniversary portrait session
It’s that time of year …fall portrait season! I look forward to the Carolinas being bright and colorful all year long; I pack as many sessions into that three-week window as possible!

When my parents celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary in May, I gifted them a portrait session and gallery to celebrate them and their bond! We agreed to wait for the fall prime time for the session, and I am so glad we did.
The three of us met at McAlpine Creek Park and a golden, beautiful October evening before the temperatures dropped dramatically. The pair did a fabulous job coordinating their outfits!

They laughed and danced in the sunbeams, which were beautifully diffused by the vibrant tree line. I was impressed by their waltzing skills!

When I asked them to do the “drunk walk,” they complied and giggled as they bumped along towards me. When I showed them the back of my camera, they were surprised by how awesome that awkward walk translates to images! There is a reason the drunk walk prompt is a favorite of mine -it gets authentic grins every time!

Because the drunk walk prompt went over so well, I couldn’t resist asking them to skip down a dirt path lined by a bright field goldenrods.

Your unique love story is worth documenting and celebrating with a portrait session. Quality images of you and your partner will gain value as time passes and look beautiful on the walls of your home!
