In August, Kristina of Lake Norman Boudoir had adventure boudoir mini sessions in sunflower fields north of Charlotte, NC. She invited me to join her for the end of the day, capping the model lineup with gorgeous Paris Loran.

Beneath stormy skies (complete with lightning cracking intermittently in the distance), Paris frolicked, twirled, and posed in front of our lenses. I was glad for the diffused, flattering light that the overcast sky provided.

Kristina provided this dress for Paris to wear. I love the way the bright color stands out boldy from the lush greenery and blue skies.

Paris changed from the nutmeg orange dress to this black bodysuit and sparkly duster combination. We shifted from the sunflower field to the nearby corn field to take advantage of the stormy blue skies.

This vintage car on the farm property made for a great pop for Paris to lean and pose on!

The last bit of golden hour is always the prettiest, but it doesn’t last long! As the sun began to dip below the horizon line, we returned to the sunflower field and captured these last few lovely, glowy images below. This beautiful lighting only lasted for ten minutes!
